up with PayPal I
highly recommend
that you do as it
is the most secure
way to make payments
on the web. Come
to think of it, it
is probably safer
than paying by check
or credit card, through
the mail or over
the phone. You'll
see what I mean about
how serious PayPal
is about security
when you sign up.
It is always a reassurance
to me when a site
I want to buy from
accepts PayPal payments. |
A
primary PayPal security
feature is that you
don't have to give
your credit card
information out to
merchants who use
PayPal. Sales are
handled within PayPal,
sellers get paid,
buyers get their
product or service
and PayPal keeps
only a small percentage,
equal to or less
than credit card
merchant fees (Fees
are charged to the
seller, no charge
for the buyer.) Not
only do you avoid
sending your credit
and personal information
over the web, but
it is a nice convenience
having to enter only
your PayPal password
and not all your
credit card info. |
